Vistara, a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, recently concluded Phase II of the ‘Vistara Wellness Initiative’, thereby contributing 1000+ wellness kits containing dry ration and sanitisation essentials to several vulnerable families across India.

Aligned with Vistara’s philosophy of giving back to the local communities it operates in, the ‘Vistara Wellness Initiative’ was rolled out in April 2020 with Phase I culminating in September 2020. The Phase II of the initiative witnessed a collective effort from the entire Vistara network in India including metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc. and other cities including Dibrugarh, Ahmedabad, Leh, Port Blair etc. Organisations such as Pee Safe and the Robin Hood Army also joined the airline in its  initiative by contributing hygiene items and managing on-ground distribution, respectively.

Since the inception of the initiative, Vistara has contributed nearly 150,000 wellness essentials impacting more than 18,000 individuals that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the coming months, Vistara will continue extending similar support to all the local communities in India whose lives have taken a hit with the outbreak of Covid 19.
