About the organization
MANT is a non-profit, non-racial, non-political, non-religious development organisation registered under Society Registration Act of 1860 in 1960, working in the field of Education, Community Media, Livelihood Promotion, Health Service Delivery and Health Behaviour Change to ameliorate the immense sufferings of the marginalized section of the contemporary society and empower them to strive for their own development in in the states of West Bengal, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, India with 241 trained workers and 34 volunteers.MANT has crossed several milestones by 2020 and of late achieved the status of a state level organization. During 1941-1971 MANT established an educational complex having Nursery, Primary, Higher Secondary and Girls Schools, Public Library, and a Degree College in a remote village of Purulia i.e. Laulara- our registered office.Presently MANT has been implementing programmes in 3 major domains:

MANT has set-up a Research Wing in the year 2017 as it was felt that regular monitoring and evaluation should be conducted to assess the effectiveness/outcomes of the programmes which are being implemented by us.

Why should a corporate partner with organization?
MANT is willing to partner with corporates to reach the mute millions of that segment of the society who are grovelling in the quagmire of underdevelopment and are in real need of help to ensure a decent life. Presently MANT has been able to reach 1.5 million people every year. Our activities are somehow touching their lives. We have developed a system to demonstrate the societal implications and benefits of activities what we have been implementing. Paper publication, international presentation, media coverages and documentaries of the successes are the few examples. Our documentaries are being shown in film festivals both at national and international level. We have dedicated manpower for Social Media, photography and documentaries and have a very strong presence in the social media. Hence, the activities to be supported by the partners will be documented and presented in several ways to demonstrate the outcome/impact i.e. how the joint efforts are eking-out a rich harvest to strike a growing difference with the recent past at the grassroots level. The corporate has to partner with MANT to have the most of the investment in the light of its transparency of operation, its efficient team of workers and their proper management, its ability to present the success stories in national and international fora and its given commitment to work for the amelioration of the life style of the people grumbling and crumbling at the bottom tier of the social strata.
MANT is ready for employee engagement to ensure improved satisfaction; positive press and endless content for social media; reputation management; brand building to ensure bigger societal return on investment for the mission of helping the marginalised people.
