Special features of the organization

Our vision: To help build a more influential, equal, and socially conscious society.

Our mission: To drive social change by fostering an environment where young adults & children learn, lead, and thrive.

Ignite: Transformational Education

Bhumi bridges the gap in formal education by providing 25,000 underprivileged children with language, STEAM education, life-skills support, and scholarships for higher education:

  • through volunteers during weekends at orphanages
  • through teachers during the week at low-income private and government schools
  • through after-school community centers in urban slums

Catalyse: Transforming Citizenry

Bhumi provides a platform for short-term and long-term volunteering activities with causes linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, such as animal welfare, road safety, disability, environment, health, etc.

Objectives of the Organization:

  • Create a safe, positive, and healthy environment, improving literacy and numeracy skills of children from low-income, vulnerable communities.
  • Create a platform for discovering and exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
  • Promote volunteering as a national habit across India through short-term volunteering opportunities in civic welfare.
  • Empower teachers with tools necessary for social-emotional development.
  • Create community champions and instill social consciousness in children, thus stirring a snowball effect of giving.

Why should a corporate partner with organization?

Bhumi has impacted over 30,000 children through its various initiatives and programs. We have over 16 years of expertise in CSR. We focus on foundational literacy through our Shelter Homes and Communities program, Fellowship, STEAM, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Skill-Ed. Bhumi's Infrastructure Development of Educational Institutions program (Ignite+) implements Building as a learning aid (BaLa), the Building of the library, teaching-learning materials, etc., where the volunteers are engaged hands-on. Corporate partnerships play a crucial role in driving sustainable change, and we would be delighted to explore opportunities to collaborate with corporate leaders and renowned companies in the CSR ecosystem.

  • Engage your employees in volunteer activities - by participating in our programs, your team can make a direct impact on our beneficiaries while fostering a sense of purpose and camaraderie within your organization.
  • Brand value and cause marketing partnerships can be promoted through our partnerships; the impact we create can inspire others to support our mission and contribute to positive change. Bhumi India Run, Bhumi Campus Awards, and Volcon India's largest volunteering conference are opportunities under this umbrella.
  • Strategic Philanthropic partnerships for our programs focussed on education- transforming learning outcomes, supporting children/youth so they can break the cycle of poverty, and bringing sustained changes through positive climate action and supportive environmental action. These are SDGs aligned and cover thematics that can enable corporates to get the profound scalable impact they desire via their CSR initiatives.
